I'm having problems when trying to perform the update 5.0.0. My Wiiu does not enter the eshop and I cant do the upgrade. My games have been deleted from the HDD and the console is shutting down alone. I want a solution to this problem.

Wii U Gamepad won't turn on or charge.
Had my Gamepad sitting on the charging dock while I was playing a game with the pro controller. I went to grab my gamepad and it was off. Tried turning it on, and nothing. Put it back on the charging dock, no light on the battery LED or anything. So I tried the ac adapter port on the top of the gamepad, nothing. Tried different outlets in different rooms, still nothing. I have a second Wii U in the closet as a Christmas present for my sister, so I took the ac charge adapter out of there and tried that, still nothing at all. So I've concluded that it's the gamepad itself. I'm hoping for an easy solution to this instead of sending it to Nintendo, I just got this **** thing. Any help would be great, thanks.

CAN'T CONNECT TO NINTENDO ESHOP
IT'S DRIVING ME CRAZY!!!!!!!!!!!
My internet connection works perfectly fine. The web browser within the Wii U works, along with everything else internet related within the Wii U. But for some reason, I am having trouble connecting to the Nintendo eShop. I keep getting a 111-9000 error code...but every 10 tries or so, I get to the main menu of the store, and then another error code pops up immediately. So far I've gotten 111-9000, 103-1006, 111-9001, 105-4235, 108-0144, 111-1056 and 104-4206, 111-9000 being the most reoccuring one. I tried connecting earlier today, and then it didn't work. So then I thought I would try again about 5 hours later, and I am getting the same problem. I've read through the trouble shooting articles, and done every step given to me to try and figure out this issue. Like, resetting my router..inputting IP and other stuff in manually...making a new internet connection..etc...all to no avail. Someone please help me before I smash my Wii U for being so incompetent.

i was playing blops 2 in a party. then a blackout happened. Enter black ops online and then it says that i have no friends. check my firend list and the error ocurred. tried everything that the support page said and the problem persists. If somone could help, it will be great. srry for my english, not my native language

Gamepad extremely short range
Hello,
Recently (within the last 2 weeks) I've noticed that my Gamepad has been having trouble staying connected to the console. Previously, I've been able to keep the two connected as far as about 30 feet away (even through walls). However, the connection has grown progressively worse, until as this morning my 3-year-old was not able to play without issues despite sitting directly next to the console (about 1-2 feet away).
Is anyone else experiencing this issue (or have experienced it in the past, with resolution)? I do not suspect damage to the pad as it's only lightly to moderately used. The only change within the last couple of weeks is that I've bought Super Mario 3D World and a 3rd-party dock for charging the gamepad and other controllers (I worry about the kids damaging the gamepad's power jack).
Any pointers or advice would be helpful. I'm a Software Engineer so I've already gone through a lot of troubleshooting (short of surveying the wireless signal strength and re-syncing the gamepad to the console).

Turning off flashing blue light on game pad?
Is there any way to turn off that flashing blue light on the Wii U game pad? Ever since the system update, the home button flashes if there's a new notification, which is everyday. It unnecessarily drains the battery. I looked under the game pad settings but didn't see any option to turn it off.

Post 5.0 Update, USB Hard Drive issues, error code 160-2713
So I have updated to the new 5.0.0 Quick Start OS Update that just came out, and now it seems like the USB HD isn't getting as much power as it used to.
I have a drive connected with a USB Y Splitter to the back USB ports. I can load a game like, Mario Kart 8, and even play a race, but when the system goes to save the results I get error code 160-2713 saying that there isn't enough power to the Hard Drive or it has become disonnected.
This wasn't an issue pre-update at all. So I am wondering if something has changed regarding this, and is there any possible fix coming?

I am trying to upload a video to YouTube via Mario Kart TV, but I keep getting error code 104-1852. I tried looking it up on the Error Code Lookup page, but there is no info on the error code. I have not made an upload in some time, but I wanted to now that I've been playing with the DLC. Any help?

Wii U WiFi Troubles
Hello. I am putting this here because I could not open a Support Ticket nor find a Tech Support phone-number.
I have owned my Wii U since March 2013 and have had no problems until a few days ago. Coinciding with the new System Update for Amiibo, my Wii U has suddenly started experiencing WiFi connection-troubles. It will work one second, and then drop another. My other devices in the same room work flawlessly: desktop PC, iPad, and 3DS. Since then, I looked this problem up online and found many people with the same issue.
I tried manually forcing a connection (advice from user GAMEDEV). I tried putting my Wii U into my router's DMZ. The thing is, my Wii U can always see my router, and it will even pass the Connection Test, but 9 times out of 10, it will fail to access the internet in real applications like eShop and Internet Browser.
The only solution I have found to work is moving my Wii U to the living-room, where my router is. Right now, it's inches from my router. WiFi works now but I don't have the convenience of using Wii U in bed anymore. I used to browse the internet, watch Amazon Video, and play Off-TV games. Sadly this pasttime is gone from me now. Please help me.
