There should be a way to turn off the gamepad while I stream videos. Also I pressed every button on the pad and I could not fast forward in Hulu+.

Gamepad extremely short range
Hello,
Recently (within the last 2 weeks) I've noticed that my Gamepad has been having trouble staying connected to the console. Previously, I've been able to keep the two connected as far as about 30 feet away (even through walls). However, the connection has grown progressively worse, until as this morning my 3-year-old was not able to play without issues despite sitting directly next to the console (about 1-2 feet away).
Is anyone else experiencing this issue (or have experienced it in the past, with resolution)? I do not suspect damage to the pad as it's only lightly to moderately used. The only change within the last couple of weeks is that I've bought Super Mario 3D World and a 3rd-party dock for charging the gamepad and other controllers (I worry about the kids damaging the gamepad's power jack).
Any pointers or advice would be helpful. I'm a Software Engineer so I've already gone through a lot of troubleshooting (short of surveying the wireless signal strength and re-syncing the gamepad to the console).
Thanks in advance!
Flash Player on the Wii U
I have tried to download adobe flash player on the internet browser and it didn't let me so I am wondering does the Wii U support adobe flash player?
Turning off flashing blue light on game pad?
Is there any way to turn off that flashing blue light on the Wii U game pad? Ever since the system update, the home button flashes if there's a new notification, which is everyday. It unnecessarily drains the battery. I looked under the game pad settings but didn't see any option to turn it off.
Wii U error code 160-3216 and 160-0108
So I just bought a refurbished Wii U that I received straight from Nintendo and it looks like it might have some problems... I'll probably need to give them a call but I wanted to check with you guys first and see if anyone has any ideas.
I tried to play MK8 but right before it gets to the title screen, the Wii U will crash and display error code 160-3216. A google search on this error code wasn't very helpful...
Thinking that I might've gotten a bad disk (I just bought it this afternoon though so that's unlikely), I popped in Nintendoland. This time it started up but after you leave the title screen the Wii U will again crash and display an error code. This time it's 160-0108.
Any ideas? My Wii U is running the latest version, 5.1.0.
Error Code: 160-0103
Hello. I just got a wii u today and after finishing the configuration this error code appears along with the message: "There is a problem with the system memory."
If anyone knows what I should do I would appreciate it.
Wii U error 160-0103
Hoping to hear from anyone else who might be having this error code. I just got off of the phone with Nintendo, who informed me they had no information about this error code. I told them all the information they asked for, of which they told me they would pass it on to the technicians, who may or may not get ahold of me via phone or email. So here I am pressing my luck and posting about it in the tech forums.
This error comes up every time I try to load up Wii U Chat. It will try to load the app with the spinning wheel in the corner like usual, then the wheel will stutter a little bit before the screen goes black and the error message pops up with white letters on the black screen - on both the TV and the GamePad.
This started happening last night when I hooked my WiiU back up at my house after coming home from a friend's house. While I was at their house (to show the system off, of course), I entered their wireless network information. After a few attempts, we found out it was necessary to set their connection as default in order to connect to it propoerly. Kind of an unnecessary step if you ask me, but whatever. We get everything working, and I show them everything the system can do, including Wii U Chat.
So I come home, hook my system back up to my TV, go into the settings and set my home connection as default to avoid any problems, and decide to call a friend with Wii U Chat. That's when my problems started. The black screen popped up and it said "There is a problem with the system memory."
EDIT: I forgot to mention that there were three Nintendo Network accounts created on my home network before I moved my Wii U, then while I was at my friend's house they made a Mii account without a Nintendo Network ID linked to it. Then I came home.

WiiU Error code: 150-1031?
I have three WiiU games and so far out of the three I have, only two of them work. The game I can't get to work is Sonic and Sega All-stars Racing: Transformed. I had one copy of the game disc that would just freeze at the title screen and I went back and exchanged it for another one and now when the game is loading the levels I get at least two to three error codes of: 150-1031 saying the disc is dirty and should be cleaned but the disc itself is spotless. I tried doing a search on Nintendo's website here for the error code but it is not found. Is this the WiiU's issue or the games? Do I have to go back and exchange it for a third copy???
Error 162-2011 problems with update 5.0.0
I'm having problems when trying to perform the update 5.0.0. My Wiiu does not enter the eshop and I cant do the upgrade. My games have been deleted from the HDD and the console is shutting down alone. I want a solution to this problem.

Wii U powering up problems after Nov 10 2014 System update
Noticed this problem in the last week since the latest system update (nov 10) was installed...
If the Wii U has been powered off for a few minutes, and you try to start it by using either the power button on the console, or by using the power button on the Wii u Gamepad, then Gamepad powers up, and the Wii u starts to power up but sort of hangs and the TV screen remains black, but the blue power light on the front of the console indicates that it is powered on.. within a few seconds we get a message on the Wii U Gamepad that says "Could not connect to the Wii U console. Please move the Wii u Gamepad closer to the console. Then turn the controllers power off and on again"
Powering the controller on and off doesn't seem to make a difference. Ultimately I have to hold down the power button on the console and force a shutdown. If i now try to power the unit on again, everything works as expected and we are able to play games as usual. Again, if the system is powered off for more than a few minutes, we seem to have to do this exercise all over again to get it running. Are there any known issues with the latest system update? It just seems weird that we've had no problems since we bought the unit back in September and now suddenly its acting up since the system got updated.
I've tried all of the other obvious trouble shooting (moving the console away from tv, Wi-fi, etc) with no real results.
Anyone else had something similar happen and have a work around? or perhaps there is a way to uninstall the latest system update?
Error code: 105-1184
I keep getting this error code while i try to download games from the eshop. Whats the error code mean and i have checked the error code search thing and it says there are no error codes of it.

Wii Classic Controller on Wii U
Hi, apologies if this has been answered already but google wasn't much help.
I managed to pick up a limited edition Xenoblade Chronicles bundle which included a red Wii Classic Controller Pro. Unfortunately, I've sold my Wii as I'm looking to pick up a Wii U soon but I'm just wondering how/if it works with the Wii U?
I understand I can use it to play original Wii games on it (such as Xenoblade) but can I use it for any Wii U games, such as the upcoming Mario Kart 8 or Smash Bros? I don't think I can but I want to know for sure.
I also wanted to get some of the Virtual Console games that were available on the Wii such as Super Mario 64 and Majora's Mask - can I get these on the Wii U and, if so, can I use the Wii Classic Controller for them or would I need the Wii U version?
Thanks!
wii u box size and weight
Hello, i would very much appreciate if someone could tell me the dimensions of the wii u deluxe set box, not the console itself.
Thank you very much in advance
